>You are walking down the street and suddenly you fall down a crack in the pavement >You arrive in a dark flickering realm of information with televisions and binary code as far as the eye can see >You wonder where you are in terror until a gargantuan face arises across the endless horizon >It's Nardwuar the Human Serviette >He asks you who you are but it's already too late as the conversation has already been decided >He fires vintage vinyl sleeves and rolled up posters at you which you can no longer grab as your body no longer exists in this desolate place >They float limply in this frozen abyss as your splayed hands melt in front of you as you attempt to find something to hold onto >Nardwuar is no longer his name and his true form shows >An incomprehensible beast of forbidden knowledge and intelligence >He asks you questions about a life of celebrity you have not experienced >You cannot answer, you have no mouth >He recalls childhood memories and repressed traumas from your agonisingly short life >You try to react to his encyclopediac knowledge but you cannot respond in any way shape or form >After a span of ten minutes that feel like a century you suddenly hear his iconic catchphrase >Thank you very much, Anon. Keep rockin' in the Free-World, Doot-Doola-Doot-Doot.. >Suddenly >Exploding Head Syndrome >You awaken in your room with your ears ringing >You've escaped sleep paralysis and the gifts he gave you lie at the end of your bed >You can vaguely hear the title theme from his interviews in the distance for at least a week >WWYD?

Allmusic[3]

The Allmusic review by Michael G. Nastos awarded the album 4½ stars and stated: 'Cool and understated might be better watchwords for what the ultra-melodic Dorham achieves on this undeniably well crafted set of standards and originals that is close to containing his best work overall during a far too brief career.. Never known as a boisterous or brash player, but also not a troubadour of romanticism.. Dorham's music is also far from complacent, and this recording established him as a Top Five performer in jazz on his instrument. It comes recommended to all.'[3]
